Mentee Agreement

Before completing our application process, please review our Agreement and Cancellation guidelines. Once reviewed, proceed to the on-line application form. You will need to have your resume ready and names of references and internal sponsors available to fully complete the application.

We look forward to receiving your information!

Guidelines for Applicants

It is important that members of The Executive Roundtable have the opportunity to network and discuss issues with others leaders who face similar challenges. For this reason, participation is by admission only. Members will be selected on the basis that they are experienced managers already in middle/upper middle leadership positions and that they are likely to be, within the next 5-10 years, in positions of significant influence and leadership.

Experience

Participants must have at least five years progressive leadership experience in mid to upper middle leadership positions and are responsible for overseeing and/or influencing the activities of others.

Personal Factors

Members are expected to have well developed interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in the overall topic of leadership. They must be willing to participate in an upfront goal setting process and are interested in working with a Mentor.

Applicants will be screened and interviewed by Executive Roundtable Membership Selection Committee members.

Other Conditions

By submitting an application, applicants are noting and agreeing to the following additional conditions:

  • An application for membership does not guarantee that the applicant will be successful.
  • Successful applicants (members) have an obligation to attend all program elements and to participate actively in maintaining their mentoring relationship as part of either a one-on-one or peer program.
  • Information discussed between Mentor and Mentee and during Peer Forum events must be kept strictly confidential.
  • Membership information (lists, directories, attendee signups) are not to be used for business solicitation purposes. Failure to respect this boundary will lead to immediate cancellation of membership with no refunds provided.

Guidelines for Sponsors of Applicants

The Executive Roundtable is aimed at people who show promise of becoming one of the next generation of executive or senior level leaders in their organizations.

Therefore, the opportunity for Executive Roundtable membership is given to people who are deemed to be high performers within their organizations. The Executive Roundtable approach is not designed to be a leadership development program for novice leaders, but rather a leadership engagement and acceleration process for individuals who are being tapped to expand their levels of scope, responsibility and influence.

For this reason, applicants usually require sponsorship, either by their employer or by an organization. Self-employed people and others not currently in employment may either obtain sponsorship or sponsor themselves.

Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Upon approval of a Mentee application, an invoice will be sent to the billing contact indicated on the application form. 100% of program fees are due upon receipt. Program cancellations received in writing prior to the goal setting interview process will receive a full refund. Program cancellations received in writing following the Mentee goal setting interview will pay a non-refundable $1500 program administration fee. Program cancellations received once a match has been initiated receive no refund, however, if the Mentee has met fewer than 3 times with their Mentor, an organizational credit of full program fees less the $1500 administration fee will be provided.

Should the Mentee elect to leave the organization prior to 3 sessions with their Mentor, an organizational credit will be issued, less the program administration fee of $1500. Should the Mentee elect to leave the organization after 3 sessions with the Mentor, no refund will be issued.

Proceed to the On-line Application.

Relationship-based activities such as working with a mentor, peer feedback, coaching and leadership goal setting are the most effective forms of leadership development.
